Adding events from a Web Services Calendar to Microsoft Outlook
- Save Comma Separated Values (.csv) file to your local computer, noting location for future reference.
- Open Microsoft Outlook and navigate to your personal calendar.
- Select "File" then "Import and Export" from the top drop down menu.
- In the dialog box select "Import from another program or file" under "Choose an action to perform".
- Click Next
- In the dialog box select "Comma Separated Values (Windows)" under "Select file type to import from"
- Click Next
- Under "File to import" click the Browse button and locate/select the file you saved in step #1.
- Under Options select how you would like to treat possible duplicates (items you are importing already exist on your Outlook calendar).
- Click Next
- Select the destination folder for your imported calendar items. This should be either a personal calendar or shared group calendar.
- Click Next
- You will be presented with another dialog box which will allow you to confirm the import settings. You can also change the destination folder and map custom fields, if required. You shouldn't need to change these settings.
- Click Finish to begin the import, which could take several minutes if there are many calendar items being imported.
- Once complete, the imported calendar items will appear on your calendar.
